Southwest Airlines Adds Weekend Nonstop Flights from Long Beach Airport to Portland and Boise

Southwest Airlines has announced nonstop flights between Long Beach Airport and Portland, Oregon, and Boise, Idaho, on weekends beginning October 7.

These new routes provide valuable connectivity between the Pacific Northwest and Southern California, says Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson.

With this addition, Long Beach Airport now offers nonstop flights to 24 destinations across the United States, more than at any time in its history. Southwest Airlines holds 45 of the airport’s 58 daily flight slots, and other airlines holding slots include Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, and UPS.

Southwest has recently added several new nonstop destinations from Long Beach, including Colorado Springs, El Paso, and Orlando, among others. For more information on nonstop destinations from Long Beach, visit lgb.org/destinations.
