Ontario International Airport (ONT) in Southern California has had another strong month in February 2023, with a 15% increase in passenger numbers compared to the previous year.

The total number of passengers was almost 413,000, with over 391,000 domestic fliers and more than 21,000 international travelers. On a year-to-date basis, the total passenger volume has increased by 20%, with the number of domestic and international travelers higher by almost 19% and 66%, respectively.
The CEO of Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA), Atif Elkadi, said that the airport’s growth has been impressive, and they expect to maintain its position as one of the fastest-growing airports in the US. ONT ranks 4th among medium to large-size airports in the continental US experiencing double-digit seat growth this year compared with pre-pandemic 2019 data.
